RENAMING AND CHANGING:
- Takahara Vanessa -> Hayashi Takara
- Kiriko -> Suzaki Emiko
- Tasuke -> Aomori Mitsuo
- Black (Emiko's Alter Ego) -> Kuroi
- Phoenixmon -> Ankamon
- Analogmon -> Barbamon

PRE-SERIES: [OVA?]

- Takara and Emiko meet. Takara was being picked on by some girls at school, Emiko comes along and helps her out. the two become bffs from that point forward.
- Emiko is an orphan, who's only friend is a digimon called Ankamon. She keeps him well-hidden, though.
- After being friends with Takara for a short time, Emiko trusts her enough to let her know about Ankamon. Ankamon at first is skeptical about Takara knowing of him, but after getting Takara's word that she won't tell, he seems still skeptical, but trusts Emiko's judgment. The three of them continue to meet every evening.
- ... memory is blurry here, but something happens, Ankamon is outed, big huge battle. End result is that Ankamon is shot down by the military, and injured badly enough to be deleted.
- After Ankamon's death, Emiko disappears. Takara doesn't see her again for a few years. The actual series takes place maybe ... three or four years later? Debatable.

FURTHER NOTES:
- Ankamon was taking advantage of a poor orphaned girl. The friendship was totally a lie. More on what Ankamon's deal was at 11.
- Emiko ends up blaming Takara for her caretaker's death. She eventually becomes a sub-villain.


IDEA FOR MITSUO HISTORY:
- Well, in the series, Takara's father had disappeared even before she met Emiko. It was later realized through Mitsuo and Takara's adventures that her father was a digimon guardian himself, and that he'd gone into the digital world years before, when Takara was really freaking tiny, and just got stuck there protecting the digimon until he finally died. Maybe at some point before Takara was born, he was part of a project to see if they could create a human life in the digital world, to see how digimon and humans could live alongside each other? And when they did, the found that some of the digimon didn't like the idea, and were killing off the data humans. So then they started trying to give the humans abilities that they could defend themselves with, but this only caused a war between the digimon and the "humans," and in the end, all of the "humans" were wiped out. The project was abandoned, but one of those "humans" did end up surviving. And that was Mitsuo.

Mitsuo eventually finds his way into the real world, but once he does, he loses all memory of who he is. He's an odd one, though, because he has the abilities to cause blackouts by "charging himself" (due to being data ... though once he comes to the real world, he doesn't know he's data, he just knows he needs electricity to survive), and he has the ability to manipulate electricity.

TAKARA NOTES:
- Shrine Maiden; her family runs a shrine.
- Lives with her mother and grandmother.
- Only child.
- Bloodline has capabilities of developing psychic abilities. Takara's grandmother and Takara herself both have abilities of some sort. Will figure those out soon. It skipped a generation with her mother.
- Shy, has a hard time making friends.
- Partner will be a dragon of some sort ... was formerly a Terriermon.
- Father disappeared when she was a baby.

EMIKO NOTES:
- Has the more fiery personality.
- Orphaned as a child.
- "Caretaker" was Ankamon ... he was just using her. More on what his deal was when we get to it.
- Does get a replacement partner. Also takes on the alter ego of 'Kuroi.'
